The Answers Bot

The Answers Bot is your friend on the ‘net, helping you to find the answers to all of your questions right through AIM. Whether you’re out and about, or just too plain lazy to search online for yourself, The Answers Bot will do all the work, and bring you the information you need!

The Answers Bot operates by using your AIM messages to conduct internet-based searches, gathering information and returning only the most relevant, concise details to you directly.

Potential Uses:

The Answers Bot not only allows you to save time conducting the searches yourself and finding relevant information, but also to get quick access to information in situations where you may not have access to a full web browser, such as using AIM from a mobile phone or locked down corporate network.

System Requirements:

The Answers Bot is accessible through any AIM-capable instant messaging client, the system can be accessed by simple sending a message to the AOL screenname theanswersbot to begin.

Usage:

The Answers Bot will attempt to return a meaningful result based on any input message, and its parsing system for doing so improves almost constantly. It also supports a range of ‘quick searches’, similar to those found on major search engines, for more direct access to specific information.
