OK, so everything’s in, and the voting begins!
All of the apps you see on here now have been submitted to AOL and Topcoder’s OpenAIM Developer Challenge where they will be competing with around 50 other entries for some great publicity and funding.
Of course popularity is a substantial part of the judging, so they’re taking a vote, which means it’s down to you, dear reader, to provide your support… =)
So if you’ve really enjoyed using any of the applications you see here, or would like to encourage further development on them, please take the time to vote for your favourite applications and help support Novar’s AIM development!
Note that to commemorate the occasion, FLAIM has also finally received a dedicated homepage, you can see it at http://flaim.novartech.net now, or launch from http://flaim.novartech.net/go/ so please remember to update any bookmarks you may have made.
Thanks for the support, and wish me luck!

After a long wait, FLAIM has finally received a much-needed update.
Resolved API and data transfer issues have meant a host of new features, lead by the finalisation of the FLAIM-to-FLAIM detection. This means a heap of advanced features designed specifically for FLAIM users to share with each other, and hopefully plenty more to come.
Look here for more details or head directly over to log in to the latest release.

Latest update, a new plugin, ZhAssist is ready to go!
ZhAssist is a translation and communication tool that helps people speaking Chinese and English to chat with each other through AIM, by providing helpful tools in an AIMCC plugin.
It’s been under development for longer than most of the other works here, even in daily use for some time now (As a budding student of Chinese myself, I know what is needed!), so it should be quite stable and hopefully equally useful.
In other news, some issues have been resolved so I’ve resumed FLAIM development in earnest; expect another update on that front in the near future.
